  • enabled lighting for Keepers/Rangers to access storerooms to prepare formula, access pathways, toilet, charge lamps/communication devices, rest area, during night patrols

  • IMMEASURABLE results in HIGHER GRADES (98.8% PASSING National examinations due to lunch program)

  • NO water at school - BTRT refurbished two dilapidated water tanks saving every drop of water from town line and rains

  • providing clean drinking water for over 1000 children/teachers

  • provided clean water for hygiene and cleaning

PROJECT: WE LOVE YOUR SHOES

  • Providing hundreds of pairs of ‘GENTLY WORN’ shoes to students

  • BTRT facilitated, managed and fundraised shipping, customs, on ground overhead operations to distribute hundreds of shoes to students, orphanages

  • A special thank you to Darmanin Shoe Store who generously donated over 100 pairs of new shoes and to the people of Malta

PROJECT: STUDENT’S EDUCATION

  • funded, mentored and facilitated a young man of eighteen years’ DREAM to attend school

  • completing first to the eighth grade

  • now has his own business, married with three children. Trilingual (Maa, Kiswahili, English), literate, uses a laptop, and is able to take his business of sales of cattle, shoes, other products in Tanzania and, Uganda and Kenya where English is often spoken in business.
