We Love Your Shoes
Our ongoing and successful shoe program for students in need. In 2025 we collected over 500 pairs of ‘gently worn’ shoes donated by the people of Malta.

SERO Dispensary - Birthing Room - Solar Installation
A supplemental solar installation in the birthing room of the SERO Dispensary Clinic located in a very remote area north of the famous Serengeti National Park. BTRT sponsored two local trainees to learn about solar with the goal to attain employment. One of the two resident Doctors beautifully commented ‘now instead of darkness, babies born will first see light’...

Nadosoito Primary School Library
Completing the Nadosoito Primary School Library with reading tables and benches, bookshelves enabling 1000 + books, encyclopedias and work books, donated by Mr. Laurence Zerafa and the people of Malta, newly refurbished floor and walls, blackboard (green colour!), 8 double electrical sockets for computers, lighting, security lights/locks/ privacy curtains, and locked windows.

Kirtalo Maasai Women’s Beading Program
Ongoing support of the Maasai women located in Kirtalo village north of the famous Serengeti National Park. Beautifully hand made bracelets, belts and pet collars for Be The Rain Trust fundraising.

ONGOING INITIATIVES
We Love Your Shoes
Due to the overwhelming success to hundreds of beneficiaries , and enthusiasm and crowd funding from communities, BTRT wishes to continue the shoe distribution campaign by implementing to other Primary Schools in Tanzania especially schools in remote areas
Solar Installations
BTRT plans to continue ongoing solar installations, solar lighting especially in remote areas - Dispensaries, Schools, Security lighting etc. finding solar is easily sustainable, low cost for value, bringing immeasurable results
Education
BTRT plans to continue ongoing campaigns by adding books and computers to the Library, developing new Libraries, and introducing learning programs, such as music, art, coding, robotics
We welcome Volunteers with their expertise to join us!
School Supplies
BTRT plans to continue to provide hundreds of pencils, pens, school notebooks, chalk, erasers, misc distributed to schools
We welcome your generous donation of $50 which will provide at least 100 students with much needed supplies

Nadosoito Primary School Kitchen Rebuild Ololosokwan - Arusha District
Why: Replace kitchen (BTRT built in 2016) due to fire damage
How: Rebuild
Benefits: Allow safe, dry storage of maize & beans, pots, firewood, area to cook hot lunches for over 1100 students
Projected Costs: $6,000
Education for Junior Accountant - Dar es Salaam
Why: To fund costs for a young man an opportunity of a college education to fulfill his dream of becoming an Accountant
How: Provide funding.
Benefits: A three year college education, independence, professional work. First child in the family to be educated and become a Professional
Projected Costs: Estimated cost: $2,800 per year to include all tuition, room & board, travel.
Water Catchment: Ololosokwan - Ngorongoro District
Why: To protect clean Spring water at base before contamination from livestock
How: Construct a fence, concrete barrier, underground pipes and water point
Benefits: Large community access to CLEAN drinking water
Projected Costs: $10,000
