Be The Rain Trust is very excited to have completed the new Library at Nadosoito Primary School just south of Arusha, Tanzania. Along with patched walls and floors, an outdoor walkway, a fresh coat of paint, a patched roof, and security locks in place BTRT has installed a 500 Watt solar unit that will enable power and lights for the school for the first time facilitating close to 800 students and 17 teachers.
BTRT is working with the Nadosoito Head Teacher Mr. Kiwelu in the planning of an eReader program and a small computer lab. Having evening reading lights will help facilitate late studying and teacher planning after darkness sets in which is about 6:00pm year round.
